"The paintings were done for my own enjoyment, and to pay homage to the greatest guitarist to ever play, and I did not secure copyrights from the owners of the photos I painted from. The one rather loose version of him done mainly in blues is my own creation, in which I worked from a blurry photo I took from a video of him."

"Thank *you* Trish, for your interest in my work. I belong to a couple chat boards where the main focus is on a couple bands, the 77s and Daniel Amos, and there are a few blues lovers on there. Some were unaware of Stevie's faith. I wrote to a street preacher/photographer from Cincinnati who ministered to Stevie and the band when they would play there. I really believe he made it to Heaven, and I can't wait to hear him play there some day!
